Hi, I’m Amanda Densmore, the nose behind Woodstock Candle Co.

I love how personal a candle can be.

That scent can transport you to a friend, A place, a moment in time.

HOW IT BEGAN

I began making candles over 10 years ago out of crayons and poured them into vintage teacups as baby shower favors. This sparked a new light in me. Pun intended. You’ll see that a lot around these parts. Since then, I have mastered my craft in using natural soy wax paired with impeccable and luxurious fragrance oils. I turned what was once a small hobby for a stay at home mom into a blooming business. We use zero additives and take pride in every hand washed, poured, and labeled jar.

I like to consider myself a mixologist of sorts. My scents aren’t found anywhere else because I create them. I spend weeks searching for the best fragrances to mix together to form something you haven’t smelled before.
